Our story

Owner, Hillary Zinks

after leaving an abusive husband

owner, Hillary Zinks and her mother, Terri, were essentially homeless. After couch surfing for a few months and living in a hotel, Hillary and Terri finally saved enough money to find an apartment.

To their surprise and luck, Terri found a live work space with so much potential. Hillary being a special effects artist for film and television thought this would be perfect for her effects studio. Then Covid hit, and Hillary was out of a job.

They thought this work space was too good to give up, so they pivoted. With no business plan, and no business loans, Hillary slowly built a store paycheck to paycheck, while Covid was simmering down.

Finally, it was ready to Open. Right before the grand opening Hillary had an idea, a Magical Succulent Bar. They made a tiny experience in the front window, which nobody did that day, nor for 6 months after grand opening. For 6 months, there were absolutely no sales, of any kind. Yet Hillary and Terri decided to put more and more money into the succulent bar idea, and it kept growing.

Finally, a hit video helped Zinks Town lift off. People started pouring in from all over the US to do the Succulent Bar, to where they had to keep growing it and now it takes over the entire store.

Now Hillary is currently looking to open her next location out of state and seeking angel investors.

Zinks Town would like to spread magic worldwide, our vision is to touch the lives of people across the United States and beyond, leaving a trail of inspiration and wonder.

We aim to empower women throughout the nation by providing them with the opportunity to launch their own businesses, free from financial constraints and investments.
